Wood stain is one of the most difficult stains to remove but a variety of products will take wood stain off your vinyl siding without harming it.
Clean wood siding without damaging paint.
Insert the detergent tip which is often black into the pressure washer wand and apply detergent as needed.
Work down from the roofline taking on one 10 foot square section at a time.
Mix 3 4 cup of oxalic acid granules and 1 gallon of hot water.
Clean the soap and remaining grime off the siding.
The cloth will likely come up dark gray with a layer of fine soot.
After scrubbing thoroughly make sure to rinse the cleaner with a garden hose.
Turn the hose end sprayer back to the light hose spray setting.

Wash the siding area with the pressure washer.
Use a spray bottle to squirt cleaner onto the grimier spots and scrub with a soft brush.
Stand roughly 4 feet away from the cedar while washing.
Pressure washing will pull stain right off of wood surfaces.

Hold the hose in one spot for about 20 seconds before moving on to another part of the siding.
Even after pressure washing you may still find that a thin layer of dirt remains on the siding.
Use a cleaner specifically designed for cleaning siding and always check the label to make sure it s safe for wood.
As an experiment rub a clean white cloth across the unwashed siding.
Rinse the siding using the pressure.
